Victor was born in Garden City, Kansas, to his parents, who originated from Mexico. His mother was abusive, and at the tender age of seven, she left him with his siblings never to return. This is when his dad introduced him to boxing, a sport he wasn’t keen on. His dad was an alcoholic who also left them four years after his mother left. His dad wasn’t anyway better from his mother and used to beat them after their mother left.
After his parents left them, they were forced into the foster care system where Victor ended with the Ford family.
