Mohammed was born in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on 31 August 1985, to King Salman and Fahda bint Falah bin Sultan bin Hathleen. His mother was the third spouse of King Salman, and he is the eldest of her children. His siblings are Khalid bin Salman and Turki bin Salman.
