Kaskade’s real name is Ryan Gary Raddon. He adopted the moniker Kaskade on seeing a picture of a waterfall in nature book, thus changing the cascade, meaning falling water to sound Kaskade. In 2000, he along with his wife, Naomi Raddon, moved to San Francisco where he picked up a job with Om Records, and it was here the name Kaskade came into existence, with his real name Ryan Raddon assuming the Kaskade for the rest of his life, which was well-received as he released his first single “What I say” in 2001. In 2003, he broke open a three-album deal with his debut album, “It’s you, It’s me.” The song “Everything” from the album topped the Billboard magazine’s charts.
