Lazenby was born to George Edward Lazenby, who was a railway worker and Sheila Joan Lazenby, who was a worker at Fossey’s in Goulburn, New South Wales. When Lazenby was just 18, due to some severe issues, he spent 18 months in the hospital, and that left him only with one kidney.
