Early Life & Biography
Porush was born in Nassau County in February 1957 to a Jewish family, and his father was a doctor. He attended Lawrence Woodmere Academy and later was enrolled in Dickinson College, Pennsylvania, and then attended Boston University but didn’t graduated from either and was dropped out. Porush later told newspapers during an interview that at that time, he was bouncing from job to job and establishing a variety of small businesses.
Porush got married to his first cousin Nancy in January 1986. They first met in 1984. At that time, Porush was running a bike-messenger business in New York City. They soon fell in love and got married two years later. The couple was seemingly leading a very ‘happy’ and ‘expensive’ life before Porush was dragged to jail by the FBI.
They got divorced in 2000 and have 3 children together. The reason for divorce was because of Porush’s affair with his then mistress Lisa Krause, and that she was carrying his baby. They got married in 2000. The new couple has one child and four step-children together.

From 1989, it became subject to any disciplinary actions by the NSAD and followed by a federal indictment in 1999, both Belfort and Porush were pleaded guilty. Jordan, although it was bailed out later, Porush was denied bail, and he spent 39 months behind bars.
