  1. Environmentalist…. Where is Patagonia manufactured these days? Outrageously priced t-shirts with excessive advertising about organic origins, but again, what about those millions of polyester Patagonia jackets and polyester quarter zips? Petroleum. Outside magazine ran an article years back that gave him quite the tongue bath and allowed him to brag about giving his workers flexible hours while he was out “product testing” in some exotic locale. Translation: just make sure you put in your 8 hours while I’m out on vacation. I wanted to like this guy, just couldn’t, but he has fooled a lot of people.
