Tom Brokaw was born in 1940, 6th February, as Thomas John Brokaw. His birthplace is Webster, South Dakota. He was born to Eugenia as well as Anthony Orville Brokaw. His father earned his daily bread as a post office clerk and also a sales clerk. His father had three sons, where Tom is the eldest. His great-grandfather, whose name was Richard P. Brokaw, is known to be the founder of the Bristol, South Dakota.
