Dash first appeared on television in the NBC crime drama Pilot Farrell, Valerie Harper, and Ed O’Neill (1982) but, these did not go past the pilot episode. She was famous for her appearance as Michelle (1985), The Cosby Show episode “Denise’s Friend.” Also, she was in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Stacey’s first important television role was in 1988 series -TV 101 but, the series was canceled after 13 episodes.
Stacey’s first major film role was in the Richard Pryor comedy Moving (1988). Also, same time, she took roles in Mo’ Money and Renaissance Man. In 1995, Stacey played a femme fatale in low budget film, Illegal in Blue, and in teen-comedy film, Clueless.
