Sherrod Brown, whose full name is Sherrod Campbell Brown, was born on the 9^th of November 1952 in Mansfield, Ohio, the U.S. to parents, Emily Campbell, and Charles Gailey Brown. He is from a Scottish, Irish, German, and English descent. Coming to his education, he has attended Yale University, from where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Russian studies in 1974. During his college days, he campaigned for George McGovern during the 1972 presidential election.
