She was born in Toronto, Ontario, and her mother’s name is Debra, and the father’s name is Ronald Bee. Her parents then split up soon after she was born, and she was then raised by her grandmother, who used to work as a secretary at the Catholic school that was attended by Samantha. The school was on Roncesvalles Avenue, and she then attended the Humberside Collegiate Institute and the York Memorial Collegiate Institute.
After she graduated from high school, she attended McGill University and there she studied humanities. Later she transferred herself to the University of Ottawa as there was a range of issues at the prior school.
