Early Life
Ron Howard Williams was born on March 1, 1954, in Duncan, Oklahoma to Rance Howard and Jean Speegle Howard. He is of Dutch, Irish, English, Scottish and German ancestry.
Ron’s family moved to Hollywood in 1958, but they eventually moved to Burbank after three years.
He studied with Desilu Studios and then John Burroughs High School. He then went on to University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts but dropped out without obtaining a degree.
