  1. the relationship between Richard and low life martin was NOT smooth nor love birds as you quote. martin fought with Richard all the time making life difficult so that Richard would have to put no talent martin into his productions. martin only USED RiCHARD’S NAME and Money to be something
from the nothing that he was just a production assistant.

  2. Martin is a fine, talented man. He came from money — his father was a successful developer in Hawaii — and at the time of his involvement with Richard had more wealth. Saying he had no talent and USED Richard is bunk!

  3. So much of the REAL Richard came out in his role as Father Ralph in The Thorn Birds. In his ‘coming out’ speech, it seems he searched in all the wrong places for the answer of why he is homosexual when the Holy Bible has all the answers. Like Father Ralph, Richard has made the wrong choices. Romans, Chapter One, tells us that God has given them over to a ‘depraved mind’! My prayer is that Richard will have a change of mind and heart before it is too late and will choose Jesus as his Lord and Savior. God has blessed him with so much talent and a sweet, kind spirit that he has shared with the world. I’ll never meet Richard in this life but I’m praying I’ll meet him in Heaven! God bless you!

  4. Just finished reading ‘Shattered Love’! Wish I hadn’t! Richard should have gotten his answers from the Holy Bible, not so-called Spiritual Leaders. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is the Only way to Heaven: “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me”. What a disappointment, like taking a trip through Sodom and Gomorrah! Heartbreaking! Richard, you’re on my heart…in my thoughts…and in my prayers. Time is getting shorter, but it’s not too late to make amends. God is LOVE and no one loves you more than He!

  5. Because Richard had no love from his father, he looked for love from other men, developing a depraved mind as written in Romans, Chapter One. It is also explained in other places in the Holy Bible! Why do you think God created man as he is, and woman as she is? God also created two places to go when we leave this life…..Heaven and Hell. I choose Heaven. Richard, it seems, looked for the truth from so-called ‘spiritual leaders’ instead of from the inspired Word of God. Richard, I love you dearly in spite of your thinking, but no one will ever love you like God loves you. You’re on my heart, in my thoughts, and in my prayers!

  6. a handsome man, sorry he did not enjoy a woman’s love, would be wonderful. a wonderful husband and a wonderful father. uh, I’m not happy he’s gay.

  7. I have liked and admired Mr Chamberlain since I first saw him in the 60s as Dr Kildare, I use to watch the program through the gape under the lounge room door, then I got the books for my birthday, and read them under the sheets with my brothers torch, then saw show gun,and thought he is such a good actor, it makes no difference to how you love if you can do the job you love well.
I became a nurse ,I always new that is what I wanted to do from as young as I can remember bandaging our cats and dogs, making different types of medicine with detox and food colouring, then the program Dr Kildare came on our little black and white tv.it was wonderful.
I admire and think he is a wonderful actor, from far across the seas in Australia.
