Paul Rabil is the son of Allan and Jean Rabil and was raised in Maryland with one brother and one sister. When he was 12 years old, he always used to show an interest in sports and began to play lacrosse. He got to DeMatha Catholic High School, and there he played with some of the greatest professional players. He then went to the Johns Hopkins University from where he graduated with a major in Political Science and a minor in Management and Entrepreneurship. Along with his college education, he continued to play lacrosse for the college team and gained popularity at a very young age.

Paul`s professional lacrosse career started in 2008, when he was selected as the 1st pick person by the Boston Cannons in the Major League Lacrosse Collegiate Draft held the same year. He immediately showed why he was the first pick, as he was selected for the All-Star game in his rookie season.
In 2009, Paul earned the MLL MVP and MLL Offensive Player Of The Year award, and also the second All-Star game appearance. He continued with impressive performances in the following years, such as setting the record for the fastest shot at 111 miles per hour (179 km/h) in 2010. In total, Paul has participated in five more All-Star games, from 2010 to 2014, again winning the MLL MVP award in 2011, and won the Steinfeld Cup championship in 2011 with the Boston Cannons.
