On March 1, 1966, Paul John Hollywood was born to John F. Hollywood and Gillian M. Harman in the city of Wirrwl, Cheshire. His father was a bakery proprietor; his mother`s profession has not been mentioned.

He went to The Mosslands School. He then studied sculpture at the Wallasey School of Art but dropped out of school to start working as a baker.

Personal Life

While working in Cyprus, in a five-star hotel, Paul Hollywood met his future wife, Alexandra (Alex). She was a scuba diving instructor, and they later got married on the island. Unfortunately, they went their separate ways in 2013. This happened after Hollywood admitted to having an affair with his American Baking Competition co-host Marcela Valladolid; they later reconciled but then separated again in November 2017.
