Paramore is a popular US rock band that comprises of lead vocalist Hayley Williams, drummer Zac Farro, and guitarist Taylor York. The band is known for their hit music albums, as “All We Know Is Falling” (2005), “Riot” (2007), that received a massive commercial success all over the world.

Inception

The Farro and Williams founded the rock band in 2004. Their high school friend Taylor York joined them in 2007. Before they came up with the debut album, the band performed at venues outside the Nashville area. It included singing at various concert festivals that included “Warped Tour,” and “Purple Door.”

The rock band members wanted to make the next move in the music industry by forming their studio album. To accomplish this objective, Paramore sent their demo to John Janick, who has been the CEO of the music label named “Fueled by Ramen.” He was so impressed by their rock performance that he planned to attend their live performance at the “Taste of Chaos” event in Orlando, Florida.

Impressed by their remarkable musical talents, John invited the band to participate in a private performance and entered into a contract to release a label with them in April 2005. Getting this significant opportunity to record music, they did not waste time and focus entirely on record their debut album.

Evolution

This band released its first album, “All We Know Is Falling,” in 2005. The album reached No. 4 position on the London Rock Chart (2009). It ranked on Number 30 position on Billboard’s Heatseekers Chart (2006). The band came up with their second album as ‘Riot!’ that got released in 2007. It’s singles “Misery Business,” “That’s What You Get,” “Crushcrushcrush,” and Riot! It had been a mainstream success.

It was certified with Platinum status in the US. They later received the nomination for the Best New Artist at the 2008 Grammy Awards. Their next album release “Brand New Eyes” 2009 is the second-highest charting album of the band to date that landed at No. 2nd position on the Billboard 200.

In 2010, Zac and Josh departed from the band. In2013, the band came up with their fourth album and reached at No. 1 position on the US Billboard 200. It stood at the Number 1 position in the UK, Ireland, New Zealand, Australia, Argentina, Mexico, and Brazil. The album included hit singles “Ain’t It Fun,” “Still Into You,” and more. In 2015, bassist “Jeremy Davis” left the band. In 2017, the former drummer “Zac Farro” re-entered the band in 2017. The band released their fifth studio album as “After Laughter” in 2018.

In 2006, Paramore was heading for “Winter Go West Tour,” where they played with The Lashes and Amber Pacific. In 2006, the group was booked on featuring tours for The Rocket Summer, and Bayside. They played a performance “Warped Tour” in summer 2006, that was featured on Hurley Stages, and Volcom.

In August 2006, they had their first US headlining tour. This Providence supported Their performance on this tour, Hit the Lights, and Cute Is What We Aim For. The trip was enfolded up in Nashville. The band performed at various festivals. Due to their wonderful performance, they were chosen as “Best New Band” by the UK magazine Kerrang.

In 2007, Paramore entered teamed up with David Bendeth, who assisted the “Breaking Benjamin” group in producing “Phobia.” With his assistance, Paramore recorded their album “Riot” and released it in June 2007.

After the massive success of “Riot,” the band was signed by “Twilight” director to write a few songs for his film soundtrack. The band worked on two major theme songs. One of these songs was titled “Decode,” and another was titled “I Caught Myself.”

Paramore band released their soundtrack album for a romantic drama film on November 4 that also featured singles from Muse and Linkin Park.

The song “Ain’t It Fun” received the prestigious “Grammy Award” for Best Rock Song. By this song, Taylor York, and Hayley Williams made it their first Grammy win of Paramore.

The album “Riot!” reached at No. 2 position on British Rock Albums chart, and at No. 15 on Billboard “Hot 200 Albums” chart.

The Linkin Park single got ranked at Number 1 position on Billboard “Hot 200” albums chart. The band has sold around 164,700 copies in the first week of its sale in the U.S. stores, and 107,000 more copies in the second week of its sale.
