Michael Kevin Pare was born in 9 October, 1958 in Brooklyn, New York City to his parents Francis Pare and Joan Pare. His parents used to own a print shop. He comes from a huge family that consist of three brothers and six sisters.
When Pare was five years old his father passed away ailing from leukaemia leaving a huge responsibility to his mother to raise a huge family by herself.
While in New York he used to work as a chef in New York City and that is when he met Yvette Bikoff a talent agent who convinced him to try his luck in acting. He studied acting in the 80’s under Uta Hagen.

In 1993 he played the role of Brad Catowski a tortured soldier in the action film “Deadly Heroes”. Since then he has starred in several other films such as Moon 44, Village of the Damned, Hope Floats, Bad Moon and The virgin Suicides.
During an interview in 2017with the Men’s Journal he stated that he was not sure if he could take a leading role in acting but he was a fan of James Dean and Marlon Brando who were his idols as well as his role model.
In1987-1988 Pare starred in the drama “Houston Knights” alongside Michael Beck. Additionally he has featured in the 2001 television series “Starhunter”.
