Matt Bellamy and Dominic Howard were in a band Gothic Plague while in college. But due to pursuing different interests, the band was broken. Then Matt and Dominic requested Chris Wolstenholme to join them and formed a band in 1994. They won the school’s battle of the bands hence took there their union seriously, so they changed their name from Rocket Baby Dolls to Muse. Muse band mainly consists of many styles, including classical music, art rock, electronica, classical music, and many others.

They struggled at the beginning but have enjoyed worldwide success over time. The muse became the first band to sell out in Wembley stadium in London, which was newly built.

The band, Muse has released a total of seven albums namely, Showbiz 1999 (falsetto), Origin of Symmetry in 2001(romantic classical), Absolution in 2003(orchestra), Black Holes and Revelations in 2006 (electronic and pop), The Resistance in 2009, The 2nd Law in 2012 (themes of government oppression), and Drones in 2015(drone welfare). In their eighth album simulation theory, they featured retro, and it was released on November 9, 2018.
