Mathew Knowles was born In Gadsden, Alabama, on 9 January 1952. He is the son of Lou, Helen Knowles, and Matthew Q Knowles. He completed his graduation from Fisk University, which is located in Nashville, Tennessee. He majored in economics, earning a degree of Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science.
