Marc Mero was born in a Christian household on 9th July 1960 in Buffalo, New York. He lived with his single mother, as his parents got divorced in 1968, and his two siblings. His mother worked really hard to support herself and her children by working two jobs.

Mero started to show interest in sports and got himself to be a part of the school’s hockey team, and at the young age of 12, he became the Most Valuable Player of his league. He had to leave Buffalo as the family moved to Liverpool.
