This Wiki of Lyndsay is wonderful! I have always admired her in the various tv shows including Rockford Files… Her movies have had her playing iconic leading roles. I just learned her; age, place of birth, high school attended and colleges attended. She is 4 years and 3 days older than I am. She was born in Los Angeles. I was born in Pasadena, California where her mom moved them to. I grew up in Covina, California 10 minutes from Pasadena. She moved to Portland, Oregon and attended David Douglas High School. I also moved to Portland, Oregon. My son attended Benson Polytechnical High School in N.E. Portland. His best friend attended David Douglas High School in S. E. Portland. My first job after moving to Portland was at the newly built Nike Data Processing Co. next to Intel in Hillsboro, Oregon
In June of 1979. A year later I bought an original house in the Concordia neighborhood in N.E. Portland. Lyndsay’s Aunt lived 2 streets to the west of my house parallel to it. My son was 5 at that time. When I first took him trick or treating in 1980, Lyndsay’s Aunt and two other women were dressed up as authentic looking witches. They were out on the front lawn with fog machine(s) a large caldron with dry ice effect billowing from it… They were reciting over and over again “Boil and bubble, toil and trouble…”. We looked forward to it every year! I had been hired by American Airlines to work for Sky Chefs Restaurant/bar when at that time was located in the Portland International Airport, as the Main Nighttime Hostess/Cashier and Manager of the waitresses…in 1980. There were 50 to 100+ people in the restaurant most of the time. Politicians, the Trail Blazers Basketball Team, various celebrities…would stop in at the restaurant. I was raised to respect famous celebrity’s privacy growing up in L. A. Lyndsay came into the restaurant one evening. She was strikingly even more beautiful in person than on screen. I said “Good evening Miss Wagner” when she walked in. She asked me where the bathroom was. I had let the waitresses… know to please not bring a lot of attention to her so she could aenjoy her meal. When she left I thanked her and said that I hoped she enjoyed her meal… I still to this day hope that I did the right thing. I would never have wanted to offend her and felt very thankful to have had the privilege to see her in person. I wish our path’s would have crossed in L.A.☺️.
