  1. Corvid-19 – Is Joel going to help by donating to those that need assistance, especially for those people who donated to his wealth? Time for him to help those in need and practice what he preaches!!! Joel, help those that are suffering!

    • If he has given, we would not know! Many scriptures support this view! He does not take a salary from the ministry. His books are bestsellers!! Write to him and share your view on this situation! He’s very approachable and would likely consider it if he hasn’t already!

    • You can bet whatever he might give will be political rather than beneficial and that he will only give out of the hope of getting. People like that what to receive, not give.

  2. I dont care where is 110,000,000 comes from God will call him to account for being this wealthy when so many are in need. How many water wells could he have drilled in Africa? Shame on him!!!

    • You got that right Virginia. Proof he doesn’t really believe in God and only in the benefits espousing his belief will he derive from it.

    • There is nothing wrong being wealthy….he helps many….not sure why having worked hard for your money is a bad thing. And just because you are Christian you are obligated to give away all your wealth? Makes no sense, sounds stupid.

  3. That’s true if you Joel osteen love God,love your neighbor and give to all those in need( victims of coronavirus and homeless) it’s impossible to love God and love to be rich,if want to go to heaven he gotta to be like Jesus (share what you have and follow him)We have to learn how the prophets and the apostles lived, Jesus himself would use a stone as a pillow because his sight was in heaven not in this world.

  4. Why do people think that you have to be poor If you are a priest or a pastor. Jesus never said be poor! This is the rhetoric of the Catholic Church while the Vatican per square mile the riches country in the world. Hypocrisy! Joel is in the business of spreading the word of God and he is very successful at it, so Why does he has to live poor. I am catholic but I don’t believe in everything the Catholic Church preaches, and if they want to attract more members they need to modernize. For example, let women be priests and priests to be married and have a family. I enjoy watching Joel sermons as well I go to church to meditate and pray

    • Please do not lie to yourself. Joel is a entertainer. Has the pay of an entertainer, status of a entertainer, and the following of an entertainer. There is nothing wrong with entertainers making that kind of money so long as they are not misusing 501(c)3 status. But I think we will see this play out as misuse of a non profit in the years to come. Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg paid all the taxes…. I don’t know about Willie Nelson or the above mention.

  5. No, Christ never said we have to be poor, but he did say that he who loves his life will lose it and he who loses his life will gain eternity. God is not a commodity to be used for personal gain. If Christ walked the earth today I wonder how He would see things.?

  6. Joel Osteen is a scumbag of the highest order and I hope he is exposed for the charlatan he is. Osteen is a slick talking snake oil salesman preaching about helping the poor and loving your neighbor from a huge mansion. This jerk doesn’t know the first thing about being a decent human being. His god is mammon, filthy lucre and he is a money loving hypocrite. I’d love to see him crucified like his false god!

  7. Living off six figures, but less than $200,000/year would be by no means living “poor”.
Self indulgence is living in a 10M mansion, …bc one cannot save the whole world by making millions is not an excuse to keep it and use it for luxury. A world could be helped hugely by every millionaire+ who lives far above a high-end middle-class lifestyle and wastes money on extremes of luxury and extravagance, when there are real world, real issues like employment, clean water, food-security issues.

  8. Joel is 57 years old and has touched millions so why shouldn’t he be wealthy? I am sure he spends many hours writing his books. And he has several sermons every Sunday. He may give to many charities, that’s none of our business We have no right to judge him. How much did the ones donate who are complaining about him being rich?

  9. How can I write directly to Joel?
I have a story about my life that God has put on my heart to share with Joel.
I want to honor God and do my best to speak with Joel.

  10. The Haye spewed above is ridiculous. I would care less how much this man makes as long as he keeps providing hope which is far more important than anything else. You choose your day and Joel does help ppl with redirection. Tgat is all tgat matters. He’s not like tge catholic church tgat pushes and judges ppl . This guy provides hope and that is all thar matters. Stop

  11. No, shame on anyone who gets caught up in even Wondering what another man does with his money! A man with integrity like Joel’s will surely spend his money wisely and donate whenever God puts it on his heart to donate. God intends for us ALL to be rich for there is nothing wrong with it. Be careful how you think and be mindful when your words bring forth your thoughts, because jealousy and envy are the underlining, sinful thoughts. I lift you up brother Joel, and I’m sure you have heard this a million times over, but I promise you the impact of your messages has been felt all over the world and God has blessed you immensely. Well done sir, and praise God for speaking to us through you, for giving us Hope.

  12. A lot of ppl here think they are God, being so judgmental. I believe Mr. Olsteen does help many through his book publishing. I have no personal knowledge whom and what he helps or gives to. It’s none of my business. He was given a life and it’s his life to do as he sees to do it. Why does anyone want to throw words around to hurt someone’s character. This is one life you are given, and the waste of time condemning another is useless. Kindness can go so far. Spread that, instead of vicious gossip.

  13. The Bible says , touch not my annointed and do my prophet no harm, so you better be careful what you say. Judge not lest you be judged. Joel needs prayer, not your criticism.
