Joe Flacco started his career in 2003 plating for the Pittsburgh Panthers football team while still at the University of Pittsburgh. He became backup quarterback in 2004, but he was not happy with the limited playing time he got.in 2006, he transferred to Delaware and started playing for the fighting blue hens, where he threw 2783 yards and achieved 18 touchdowns with ten interceptions.
