Jerry Only, whose real name is Gerald Caiafa Jr., was born on the 21st of April 1959 in Lodi, New Jersey, the U.S. Coming to his education, he has studied at the Lodi High School.
Jerry Only is currently single as per our records, and there isn’t much information available about his previous relationships as well. Coming to the other aspects of his personal life, he settled a legal battle out of court in 1995 with Glenn Danzig, which allowed him the right to use the Misfits’ name on a performing level, but the money earned from merchandising was split.
However, that won’t be the last legal battle he would have with Glenn as Glenn would file a lawsuit against him in May of 2014. He claimed that Jerry registered trademarks for everything Misfits-related in 2000 behind his back, which led him to suffer damages upwards of $75,000. Jerry Only began his career with the popular punk rock band, The Misfits, which was formed in 1977 by the popular singer Glenn Danzig. Glenn’s first recruit was the popular drummer, Manny Martínez. Jerry used to work on his father’s machine shop on weekdays to help finance the band and perform on the weekends.
He achieved success as part of The Misfits and went on various tours as well, but the group disbanded in 1983 because of issues among Glenn Danzig and the other members of the band. Jerry meanwhile formed the metal project, Kryst The Conqueror, with his brother Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein. Jerry reformed The Misfits in 1995 with guitarist Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein, vocalist Michale Graves, and drummer Dr. Chud.
By 2005, Chud, Graves, and Doyle had left the band and were replaced by Dez Cadena and Marky Ramone. This made Jerry perform on vocals, which he has been doing to this date. In 2005, Marky left the band and was replaced by the popular drummer, ROBO. In 2011, they released the group, “The Devil’s Rain,” and in 2013, they released the album, “DEAD ALIVE!” which was recorded live at various shows.
The band has held concerts at various popular venues including, MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, The Forum in Inglewood, California, and the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. Jerry worked in the World Championship Wrestling in 1999 for some time along with other members of the band. They aligned themselves with the popular wrestler, Vampiro. His most popular match in WCW came when he defeated the popular wrestler, Dr. Death, in a steel cage match.
