He was born Jerry Lamon Falwell on 17 June 1962, in Lynchburg, Virginia. He is the eldest son of Marcel Falwell and Jerry Falwell Sr. He started his education in a private school in Lynchburg area where he went to Lynchburg Christian Academy, graduating in 1980. He later joined Liberty University, and he graduated in 1984 with a B.A in religious studies. He went to study law at the University Of Virginia School Of Law, and in 1987 he obtained his law degree.
