In 1981, he was drafted in the 7th round after playing NFL Draft by the Chicago Bears after playing college football at the University of Southern California. He has played a total of five seasons with the Bears.
He became the coach during the end of the 1994 season of the Titan during their tenure as the Houston Oilers. He continued his journey with the Titans until the end of the season of the year 2010. Titans and Fisher both mutually agreed to part their ways during that time.
He agreed to work with St. Louis Rams as the head coach on the 13th of January in the year 2012.
