  1. I love this Man seen him once and will always remember his songs smiles and jokes.Wish I could meet him and his family.

  2. Loved him since the early 70’s. When my husband (a drummer) was with his band, I would be at home listening to my Fav Gordon Lightfoot, over & over again. Would love to see one of his concerts

  3. When my daughter was 8, she fell in love with the Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald. When he came to town, she begged me to take her and I spend a lot of time tracking down his manager, asking if Gordon would meet my daughter, and he made it happen backstage. My daughter is now a Professor at a top notch University and still has the picture of them on her wall. It was the first of over 50 concerts I’ve taken my daughter to.

  4. I have seen him many times. while he and the band are great, the best times were in the Riverboat with John Stockfish on base and Red Shea on lead Guitar. I remember him telling us about his entry for Canada’s song for the Centennial, Canadian Railway Trilogy, i’d take that over CAN NAh Dah any day of the week. 20 minute set on a stage barely big enough for the 3 of them. I would line up for a 20 minute set (think is was about $10 a set) go in sit through set exit and walk around to the fron an d lineup for another set. Times were good in the “Viilage”
