Glen Travis Campbell was born on April 22, 1936, in Billstownn Arkansas, United States. He was born to John Wesley and Carrie Dell Campbell.
He was the seventh child out of 12 children. They lived on a farm and made a living out of growing cotton, watermelon, and potatoes. Glen started playing the guitar at the age of five.
