Eric Whitney, popularly known by his professional name Ghostermane was born on 15^th April 1991 in Lake Worth, Florida. His parents were from New York. They later moved to West Palm Beach, where he spent his early childhood life. He loved music since he was young, and when he was a teenager, he used to play hard-core punk music.  He learnt how to play guitar, and when he was somehow perfect, he joined different bands like Nemesis and Seven Serpents.

Ghostermane did not receive much education as his father, who was their pillar, died when he was seventeen years. He graduated up to the high school level. His father encouraged him to play football while in high school, although it was not his passion. His friend, who was a bandmate, introduced him to rap music, and by then, he was the guitarist of his band.
