Erik came out as the member of the Rhyme Syndicate, his first-ever solo album Forever Everlasting was released in 1990, it was made possible by MC Ice-T, which was a disappointment advertisement. After the failure of his album, Erik decided to form a band with his high school friend Danny Boy and a D.J. called D.J. Lethal; the band was called House of Pain in Los Angeles, United States.
