Hartwell played for Baltimore Ravens from the year 2001 up to2004. All this time Hartwell was included in all the matches. He played only in specified teams. During his tenure as a linebacker with Ravens, he had one interception, 337 tackles and six sacks. Hartwell then moved to Atlanta Falcons on a contract basis of six years.
