Daniel Ortega was born in La Libertad, Nicaragua, on 11 November 1945 as Jose Daniel Ortega Saavedra. He was born to Daniel Ortega Cerda and Lidia Saavedra. Moreover, His mother was jailed for possessing the love letters, which were coded with police missives.
