From 2009 to 2012, Lepore was part of a straight edge hardcore band that he helped to create in Syracuse, New York, called GhostXShip, where he was the frontman. He left the band in 2012. After leaving the band, Lepore was not done with music just yet, he still provided vocals for the song, Black Death, for a band called No Zodaic, a beatdownhardcore band.
Lepore kept close ties with the No Zodiac band and even toured with them in Europe in 2013 where he still provided vocals. He did the lead vocals replacing Gerardo Pavon who could not leave USA due to VISA issues.
