  1. Such a poorly written article. Is this a joke? You classify his “Profession” as “Criminal”. You say he “dropped out of school because he CHOSE to live a life in the streets” … as if povery, anti-black racism, and the fact that every adult he knew was either on drugs or committing crime had nothing to do with WHY he ended up in the situation he ended up in. It was OBVIOUSLY a white who wrote this. I guess ANYONE can write an article and post it online these days. Standards are THAT low. Congratulations on showing yourself to be an idiot. There’s a saying that applies to you. It goes … “It is better to remain silent and let everyone THINK you’re a fool, than it is to open your mouth and remove ALL doubt.” YOU have removed ALL doubt.

    • So it’s okay for white people to praise and glorify white people that commit crimes…But when a black person commit a crime and turn they life around they are considered as a idiot and a criminal..You sound stupid..Smh

  2. I must say that I am thinking that you put “Criminal” next to profession for shock value. Was that the reason. It definitely made me pause and hurt that you said this but it is juxtaposed to giving his net worth. The reader will see criminal and wonder how he is worth 50k. Wish you could have found a different way to write that.

  3. I follow Curtis Carrol for many years. He did a Ted Talk. He is an amazing guy with an amazing story. When he gets out,I would love to meet him.

  4. I came across you tube video that Curtis did with Sway. I’m continuing to pray that this gentleman is released in 2020. Free him

  6. I wasn’t really sure if I was the only person that would comment on how hideous this article is…. The only thing I see accurately portrayed by this author is her self professed claim that she is a “Wana be” in her own words in her twitter bio. This lets me know that this self proclaimed “wana be” is also an envious, racist, self hating, low self esteem having hater lol.
