Christopher Robinson was born to Nancy Jane and Stanley Robinson in Marietta Georgia, his father Stan Robinson also had a charted Billboard record in the year 1959, which was known as “Boom-A-Dip-Dip “his father died in 2013.

The Black Crowes was formerly known as Mr. Crowe’s Garden; they were signed by Def American, a Label that belonged to Rick Rubin. Their debut album was Shake Your Money Maker, their album was a huge success, and they went on a tour to support it. The Black Crowes released six more studio albums due to the line-up changes they went through in a period of nine years, and in 1995 one of them Jerry Garcia died, in 2002, Steve Gorman left the band, and they announced that the band was taking a break.
