He is the son of Timothy Colfer and Karyn Colfer, who are of the Irish ancestry, and he was born in Clovis, California, the United States.  He was confined in a hospital for three months when he was a child after undergoing a lymph-node surgery, which left a scar on his neck.

Chris attended Clovis East High school, where he was severely bullied and had to be homeschooled for part of the 7th and the 8th grade. He was the president of the Writer’s Club and also a member of the drama club and the FFA. In senior high school, he wrote, directed, and starred in a spoof of Sweeney Todd titled Shirley Todd.

    I was touched by sertin poins of this blog and even if I find that there are details a little too personal like his weight, I am really fond of Chris Colfer and I find that he is an example for America.
    I’m not American so I can’t really understand the full resonance of everything blogging but I can understand a lot of it and I find it really good.
    Of course I support anyone who is gay and I have a relative who is myself. I also support his ambition for the protextion, animals and all shelters.
    I also underline that I really adored the series “Glee” and that I would even like that there is more season there.
