Brian Littrell whose full name is Brian Thomas Littrell was born to parents Jacqueline Fox and Harold Baker Littrell on the 20^th of February 1975 in Lexington, Kentucky, the U.S.  By profession, his mother used to work as a secretary at a local dental office, and his father used to work at IBM.  He belongs to a very religious Baptist family and also has an elder brother, Harold.  He was born with a congenital heart problem, but he was able to overcome it over the years.

His love for music and sports was visible at an early age itself.  He started singing as a part of the choir group of the Porter Memorial Baptist Church. When he was in the 7^th grade, his choir teacher suggested he sing at weddings and other events to make money, which is exactly what he did until he was 16 years old.
