Born in Florida, Griese has always played sports like football, basketball and golf. Former NFL Quarterback Bob Griese is the father of Brian. His early days of youth are replete with playing various sports day in and day out. He also played football at Michigan University for four years.

His skill set was so predominantly on the rise at that point that without the scholarship from Michigan, he still went on to decline scholarships from other universities. He even refused it from his father’s alma mater.
