After moving to the University of Southern California, he played for Trojans from 2005 to 2008. He was named defensive MVP for the Rose Bowl Game when his defensive capabilities helped the team push forwards. He is one of the two college football players to have competed as starters in the Rose Bowl in all four of their college seasons.
