He has been the backdrop of our life, and every time he turns a corner, flips the page or changes the subject we smile and hold our breath as his work speaks to us or baffles us or just plain leaves us speechless. It seems if we don’t get it immediately, as we age or turn to dust we also figure out how to understand that period and often it helps us understand the broader world around us, or not.   4. I started listening to Bob back in 69/70 in my junior high school. I had some teachers that were hippies. Been a fan ever since. Some of the same teachers would let us play Cheech and Chong. What a great time!
