Beanie Sigel’s real name is Dwight Equan Grant, who was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on March 6, 1974. His name ‘Beanie’ was his nickname, and ‘Sigel’ comes from a street name in his neighborhood in Philadelphia. Sigel, at a very young age of 14, underwent eight arrests.
