Soon after their formation, they were joined by a high school acquaintance named Zachary Baker, who used to play in the punk-band MPA.

The band’s first creative output was just a three-track demo, and after this, they were asked by Sadistic Records to contribute their music to two compilations. In the end, they recorded two new songs and then released them along with the previously registered songs in early 2000. Soon Matt Wendt left for the college, and later band was joined by the bassist of Suburban Legends.

They were back then signed by Goodlife Recording. The current lead Guitarist Synyster Gates joined the band after the release of this album. The major success came after the release of their second album, which was ‘Sounding of the Seventh Trumpet.’

The first album featured a lot of screamo, and Daemon Ash was replaced by the current bassist Johnny Christ. Soon after the second album, the group left the Hopeless Records for Warner Bros., and the company took an interest in them due to their aggressive and innovative sound. They released their second album 2003, which was known as ‘Walking The Fallen,’ and total sales it made were 175,000 copies in the USA.

They released their third album in 2005, and it was named as the City of Evil, and it became the most successful album of the band. It also got the 30th position in the U.S. Billboard chart and made over 730,000 sales.

The company kept touring, and a new member joined the group named The Rev., but his contribution to the group was short as he did in 2009, and since then, the group members were respected a lot by the people.

  1. Dear Metal fans, did you know that avenged sevenfold has stolen their entire catalogue of music and must now return all the money and awards they earn as the number criminals of the music world because no one is permitted to benefit from a crime in America.
Mister Shadows heading the pack on that one as the primary lyricist songwriter, though he is now trying to blame it on the dead guy his brother Jimi Sullivan, but he is the guilty leader in this fucking charade just as he is a lousy father, lover and a fucking gambler!
If you love music, especially metal stop buying any record from avenged sevenfold or a7x, Fraud is the most serious crime in the USA. What we will likely see though is his famous political family baling him ou,t again. It will make for great conversations at the future parties held in West Virginia for a while to come.
Matt Sanders who was born a millionnaire thanks to the Kentucky Fried Chicken franchises, threw it all away to sell a fucking record because he did not have enough talent, then when he was picked up by major label with other people talents he was still crying in his soup complaining that now he was a sell-out!
Shame on you sanders, says I, Queen Elvis spoke-woman for everybody you stole from especially myself!!! and freelance reporter for my radio station Pirate Radio.com, if it,s not Death Metal is fucking jzz like your new drummer sanders it fucking sucks on lolly pops.
