Rodriguez was born on July 27th in 1975 to a Dominican family living in Manhattan. His family moved back to the Dominican Republic when he was only four years old, they, however, soon moved back to Miami, Florida.

He went to Christopher Columbus High School and, by the end of his freshman year, was transferred to Westminster Christian School.
