Adam Vinatieri was born to parents Judy and Paul Vinatieri on December 28, 1972, at Yankton, South Dakota. As a child, Adam was very well endowed with sports facilities and equipment, as his parents strongly supported his idea of becoming an athlete. Adam Vinatieri’s training for professional football started way back in 1995 just after his graduation. His career kick-started when he was taken in for a tryout session by the National Football League Europe (earlier known as World League of American Football). He secured a position with the “Amsterdam Admirals” as a placekicker and punter.
In his early years, Adam was signed as an undrafted free agent to play as a placekicker by the “Patriots”. During this time, he played four super bowls, out of which he won three.
In 2001 and 2003, Adam Vinatieri proved himself, when he played an integral role in winning the two Super Bowls. He was declared the first player ever to be the deciding factor in a Super Bowl game (two of them).
