Adam Conover was born on March 2, 1983, in the city of Smithtown, New York, and grew up in Wading River. His father, David O. Conover, worked as a marine biologist, and mother Margaret Conover was a botanist by profession. Adam developed an interest in performing arts in 2000 when he graduated from Shoreham-Wading River High School. Post that, he pursued a Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy from Bard College from 2002 to 2004. This is where he became a member of the sketch comedy group Olde English in 2002.
