Later, Steve Perry moved to Sacramento, California, starting a band along with Scott Mathews naming it “Ice.” The band was a mess up because it wasn’t well managed, so they split, and Steve went to Thousand Oaks, California, to start another band named “Pieces,” along with Tim Bogert, Eddie Tuduri, and Denver Cross. “Pieces” band couldn’t get into a recording deal, so they split. After that, Steve Perry played for another band named “Alien Project,” the band’s bassist Richard Michaels died in a car accident, and then Steve really felt like he should quit.
