  1. “I am committed to creating opportunities for Kentucky families and serving all Americans to help ensure a prosperous future for America…” Mitch McConnell.
How does this quote match the obstructionist actions of Sen McConnell towards any and all legislative proposals put forth by Democrats? At this time when people are tired of the constant bickering and insanity in Washington and only long for peace, at a time when a colleague who has just been elected President and proclaimed his desire to cooperate and who asks for cooperation in return, at this time when our country is fragile, how can he proclaim his hostility toward any of the legitimate and customary and necessary steps to setting up an administration? What kind of person is this who prides himself on being the “grim reaper”? How will he treat any efforts to pass legislation that will help the citizens of his state as well as the entire country just because it is put forth by a Democrat? I think he is a cruel and hate filled person who sees his job as being the anti-peace at all costs. The Civil War ended over 200 years ago but he is still carrying a grudge? What is wrong with this person that he thinks that instead of collegiality he fosters hatred not only in his chamber but in the citizens of this country who have been encouraged to hate by the current occupant of the White House? Why does he feel it is necessary to perpetuate this climate of hatred? We are doomed as a country if we cannot have a government that cooperates and communicates with civil dialogue. I am very sad to see us lose this opportunity to get back to normality and civility and productivity. I hope the citizens of Kentucky and the country will express similar concerns, for if they do not I fear for our republic and our people.

  2. How did he acquire this much wealth? By granting favors to his Chinese in-laws and to corporate interests.
He has been pandering to the extreme Right for years. He has thwarted the Senate from conducting the business of the American people. He has not served our country well with his hyper partisan politics. Now we are in a pandemic killing thousands of Americans and he continues to support a failed President, failed by his own ego and ignorance. His name will be ignonymous with corruption and dishonesty
