Joyce Meyer also declares that she was pleading with God intensely as she drove to work, in one morning back in the year 1976. It was during the prayer that she heard God calling her name. She was born again at the tender of nine years old. However, her unhappiness led her deeper into her faith. She states that she returned home later on the day from a beauty appointment “full of liquid love” and “drunk with God’s spirit” on that night while at the neighborhood careening alley.

She states that she did not have any knowledge. She did not attend church, and she had many problems and was true of someone to assist her along. Sometimes she thinks even people willing to serve God, if they have many issues that they do not consider properly and they do not act appropriately, they almost require someone to take them by the arm and assist through the earlier years.

Joyce Meyer was temporarily a member of Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church located in St. Louis, an audience of the Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod. She started contacting an early morning Bible classes at a neighborhood cafeteria and converted to an active preacher in Life Christian Centre. This is a charismatic church located in Fenton. After some years, Meyer was the associate pastor of the church. The church converted to one of the high ranked charismatic churches in the area, majorly due to her popularity as a teacher of the Bible. She stared airing a daily radio broadcast of 15 minutes on a St. Louis radio station.

  1. Joyce Meyer is a wonderful person who helps millions if not billions of people each day. Please respect that she needs a private jet for security, and deserves respect and not judgement! As you judge and criticize others shall you be judged. She is the real Deal, I can’t say that for many pastors. God Bless her and Keep her healthy!

    • You’re deluded and misled. She’s ONLY about the money. She’s a fake and a false teacher. She teaches the false prosperity gospel, which is un-Bilical and a heresy and leverages people’s greed and fear. She does not teach salvation in Jesus Christ. She is a business, plain and simple. Luke 16:13 “No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to one, and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.” . . . and Meyer has a LOT of ‘mammon’! She has a massive personal fortune. No one needs a private jet for security. That’s a lie. She has multiple mansions, flashy cars and all kinds of luxuries. She is quoted as saying she does not have to defend her habits of spending since there is no need for her to apologize for her blessings. What utter nonsense. Jesus’s followers sold everything they had, and gave the money to the poor. Shame on her for accumulating wealth from those who can ill-afford it and doing so falsley in God’s name! She will answer (as will we all!).

  2. I don’t think it appropriate to demean Joyce Myer. Only God knows her heart, and she is responsible to him alone. So let us not grieve the Holy Spirit by denouncing her for her wealth. Rather, examine our own hearts to see how we stand before Him

  3. Hello Mrs Meyer
I have been watching your YouTube today.
It was so refreshing to hear a teacher of Gods word bring a serious note to your audience.
Often Paul’s teaching is overlooked and over focus on the four gospels Jesus came for the house of Israel.
The doctrines are not often taught leaving the believer with a shallow hope and weak faith.
David Daniels at chick publications found during his study at fullers theological seminary that his class he was in as he stated in a book he wrote we were loosing our faith.
He was referring to the siniaticus the teachers were using was not even available to the class to read.
His book he wrote recently “is this bible a fake”
Like David I became aware these 100s of new this and new that bibles are all under copyright, have been removing and adding to Gods preserved inerrant infallible scriptures.
    In psalms 12.6-7 He says
6 The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.

7 Thou shalt keep them, O Lord, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.
    Does your bible teach this?
I hear so many pastors say here in New Zealand there’s no perfect bible.
Thou shall keep him in perfect peace who mind is stayed in thee because he trusteth in thee.

Carolynn I’m a democrat, what does that have to do with one’s opinion. Let’s be grateful and thankful and not be judging anyone, we are all God’s children. I’m thankful for Joyce Meyer she is helping me turn my life around and I love ready the Bible. God Bless all of you.

  7. I think JM has a gift. It is up to the listener to discern the truth in it. As for her wealth I’m not sure that’s appropriate if it is true…However if it enables her ministry then it is meant to be.
