Introduction to the Show
Jersey Shore was an American reality television series that aired on MTV from 3 December 2009 to 20 December 2012. The show was about eight-member living inside a vacation home and about their lives staring Sally Ann Salsano, Paul DelVecchio, Nicole Polizzi, Michale Sorrentine, Samantha Giancola, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Jennifer Farley, Vinny Guadagnino, Angelina Pivarrnick, and Deena Nicole Cortese.
The show consisted of six seasons out of four (1, 3, 5, and 6), which was shot in Seaside Heights, New Jersy, the second season in South Beach, Florida, and fourth season in Florence, Italy. The show faced some critical remarks by the locals when it was shot in Italy, especially for using the term ‘Guido/Guidette’ and stereotypes. The show was considered as one of the most notable shows of its time by the media, and soon the show became a pop culture phenomenon after the release of its first season.
After the show ended, four of its cast members appeared in other MTV shows the most popular being Snooki and JWOWW and other featured in reality shows that aired on different channels. On April 5, the entire cast was reunited in an MTV series ‘Jersey Shore: Family Vacation.’
About the cast members
Nichole Elizabeth LaValle is an American actress, professional wrestler, and dancer. After Jersey Shore ended in 2012, she appeared on another American reality television series, ‘Snooky and JWOWW,’ which aired on MTV. On 14 March 2011, she appeared on WWE Monday Night Raw in a segment with wrestler John Morrison and Dolf Ziggler and even wrestled a match against Dolf Ziggler as John Morrison’s tag team partner.
The second cast member of Jersey Shore cast is Jennifer Lynn Farley, who is an American Tv personality and apart from Jersey Shore, she appeared in other shows like TNA Impact, Disaster Date, and Marriage Bootcamp: Reality Stars. After the show ended, she featured in the web series ‘Snooky & JWOWW: Moms with Attitude,’ which began on go90 and later moved to MTV YouTube channel in 2018.
The third member of the cast is Michael Sorrentino who is an American Tv personality and while appearing on Jersey Shore he featured in Tv series like The Hot Stern Show, The Tonight Show with Conan O’ Brien, The Jay Leno Show and Chelsea Lately as a guest and was a contestant on Dancing with stars in season 11 with dancer Karina Smirnoff as his partner. Paul D. DelVecchio Jr is best known as DJ Paul D, is the fourth member of the cast.
He is an American Tv personality and disco jokey apart from Jersey Shore he appeared on television reality series like Famously Single in 2016 and Marriage Bootcamp: Reality Stars 11 with Aubrey O’Day. Ronald J. Ortiz-Magro Jr., the fifth member of Jersey Shore cast, is an actor and tv personality. He appeared in TNA wrestling with wrestler Eric Young, and he also featured in 2012’s movie The Three Stooges. He was one of the contestants of the stunt show Celebrity Fear Factor in 2018.
Vincent J. Guadagnino, the fifth member of the cast, is an actor and Italian-American tv personality from Staten Island New York City. He appeared in all seasons of the Jersey Shore, and in one of the episodes of the fourth season, he visited his family farm in Italy. In 2013 he became the host of the MTV show ‘The Show with Vinni’ in which he featured with celebrities in his home talking and having dinner. In 2019 he appeared with his Jersey Shore’s co-star DJ Pauly D in a reality television game A Double Shot at Love on MTV.
Deena Nicole Buckner joined Jersey Shore cast in season 3 as a replacement Angelina Pivarnick. She gave an audition for the role in season 1 but got rejected. In 2014 she appeared in the reality show Couples Therapy on channel VH1.
Samantha Giancola, or better known as Sammi sweetheart, is an actress and businesswoman. She appeared in the movie The Three Stooges along with her Jersey shore co-star Giancola and on late-night shows The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, The Wendy Williams Show, and Live with Regis and Kelly with Jersy Shore’s castmates.
Angelina Marie Larangeira worked as a waitress before joining the Jersey Shore show. She appeared for only two seasons of the show and was evicted in the third show of the third season. After she left the show, she appeared on the reality show Couples Therapy with her boyfriend.
