In 2001, he made the Guinness World Record for the biggest drop on a skateboard by jumping into a 70-foot skateboard ramp.

The record lasted until 2006 when it was broken by the popular skateboarder, Danny Way. Coming to his Mixed Martial Arts career, he made his debut on the 6th of February 2009 against the popular fighter, Tony Gianopulos, in which he won the match via guillotine choke submission. In his second fight, he competed in and defeated the popular fighter, Gabe Rivas, via an Americana submission.

He has competed as a TV racer in the Lucas Oil SuperLite Series for Dethrone. On the 14th of July 2012, he competed in a boxing match against Gabe Ruediger and won the fight via KO.
