Hafpor made his career debut as a basketball player, back in the year 2004. He started his career as a center for the club, “Division 1,” and “Breioablik.” Again in the year 2005, Hafpor became a member of the “Division 1” club. He then suffered an ankle injury during various games and had to undergo surgery.

Back in the year 2006, Hafpor recovered from the ankle surgery and moved to the “KR” club. Here the ankle injuries persisted, leading him to miss various games since he had to undergo another surgery.
